Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage, the episcopal city of Albi is home to various treasures. Follow the guide to explore the narrow streets of Albi’s old town, the Cloister of Saint Salvy, the Berbie Palace – which houses the Toulouse-Lautrec museum – and even more impressive…the majestic Cathedral of St. Cecilia.
Cordes sur Ciel will leave you in awe thanks to its incomparable architectural heritage, including its extravagant Gothic merchants’ houses, the covered market, the Saint Michel church and fortified gates, as well as local products, savoir-faire and crafts. A wonderful combination for which the bastide is renowned.
These two “Grands Sites Occitanie” truly have two completely different styles of architecture, yet have a shared history.

- Ascent in a little train and a “Cordes, History and Architecture” guided tour (1 hr. 30 mins)
- Free time to wander around the narrow streets
- Lunch in the heart of the medieval town of Cordes or in a restaurant near to Albi Cathedral
- Guided tour of the Episcopal City of Albi (2 hrs.)
