The ‘Fourmiguier’ Factory

The building known as “La Gaudane”, built in 1881, is home to the first embroidery factory known as ‘La Fabrique’ (the factory).

May to September, 10am-12pm and 2pm-5pm (and by appointment).

Installed within the ‘Maison de Grand Fauconnier’, this museum proposes a unique encounter between the architectural heritage of middle-aged Cordes and the artistic creation of the 20th century.

Saint Grégoire Museum

Musée Saint Grégoire

Includes contempory paintings and carvings by world-renowned Australien Aboriginal artists such as Clifford Possum and Albert Namatjira among others. The Laperouse masterpieces by renowned Australien narrative painter, moriss Kennedy. These paintings depict the journeys of the famous French explorer Jean-François de Lapérouse from an Australien perspective. The Ornithoborg Collection of interactive sculptures by Andrew Hackwell, an award-winning Australien sculptor.

Fortress of Penne
